From 1979 to 1986, Norman Steisel was New York City’s Sanitation Commissioner. For that matter, in the 20th century, he was their longest serving official. During his time there, he introduced various productivity initiatives to boost the operational efficiency of the department.

Norman Steisel formerly served the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) as their Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. The PHLX ultimately sold to NASDAQ OMX. Mr. Steisel coordinated PHLX engagement in integration activities and transition planning with NASDAQ OMX.

Norman Steisel serves as a senior manager with wide-ranging public in addition to private sector expertise. Norman Steisel has maintained very high managing and executive roles in the job areas of city governing administration as well as financing. He is at present Chief executive officer of the consulting services company that are experts in environmentally friendly initiatives.
